Board Update - September 2024
Kia ora koutou Cotswold Mātāhae whānau
The Board of Trustees met on Wednesday 11th September for their fifth meeting of 2024.
Firstly, we would like to say a big congratulations to David Guthrie on his appointment as Associate Principal beginning in Term 1, 2025, we know you will do a great job Dave and will have everyone behind you with the support from all the staff and board members and the wider community.
Many thanks to Rowena, Saskia, Jo and the Creatives Group for the amazing work in creating the Art installation at our front gate, it looks amazing, well done team!!!
So good to see the Junior Production is back after a few years, massive thank you to Paula and all the Junior team for all their hard work for the upcoming show later this term, I bet there are excited little ones.
Big thanks again to our very own 'Professor' (Sports Co-Ordinator) Pete and all the fantastic parents who helped out with the PSC Duathlon and Tournament, your help is so appreciated, a big congratulations to all the tamariki who participated, we know you would of shown your Cotswold values and done your School and yourselves proud.
Well done to students who will represent Cotswold Matahae in our Local Rotary Speech Competition, we know you will do yourselves proud and be very confident, good luck.
Congratulations to the Dance Made Team, and thanks to Saskia for all her organisation and the students who participated last weekend.
A big thank you also to Anna and Dani (we know this is such a huge effort), and congratulations to the Cotswold Kapa Haka group who performed last Sunday at the Tuhono Kapa Haka Festival, what a great event that is and I am sure the Tamariki did themselves and Cotswold proud.
All the best to the Choir who are performing at the Christchurch Schools music festival next term, we know you will sing your hearts out! Massive congratulations to Isabelle McFedries who auditioned for the Junior Schools Representative Choir, such an amazing achievement!!!
Lastly, with just over a week to go left in this Term, we hope you have a great holiday break and refresh for the final term for 2024, hard to believe we are 3/4 of the way through the year already and the shops are starting to bring in their Christmas decorations (Geoff will have his Santa suit on before we know it!!!)
