Pink Caps Wanted


Do you have a daughter in Y3/Y4 or possibly a new to cricket in Year 5, who wants to be one of the famous Pink Caps?

We are nearing on the potential of having not just 2, but 3 Pink Caps teams at Marist Harewood Cricket Club this year! We just have a couple of spaces to fill.

Games Saturday morning starting 19th October.

REGISTRATION NIGHT An invitation for anyone interested in joining Kidz Kartz, and a friendly reminder for our Kidz Kartz Families!

 

Kidz Kartz offers horse crazy children the opportunity to learn everything about horse care, maintenance, how to handle and drive ponies, race day preparation, and even the chance to race at official race day meetings! 

 

The Kidz Kartz initiative is to offer all children (aged 8-16 years) the opportunity to experience working with miniature horses and ponies. And learn everything they need to know to be able to pursue a career in the equine industry or own a horse of their own one day! 

 

Registration Details:

Wednesday 25th September

Riccarton Park Racecourse, training area off Racecourse Road

4:30pm - 5:30pm

 CHRISTCHURCH AVON ATHLETICS CLUB – Junior Section 

 

We are a well organised, friendly Junior Athletics Club – catering for children of all abilities in the 5-14yr age groups.

Club nights are Wednesdays 5pm -6.45pm (5/6yrs finish by 6.30pm) – at Burnside High School.

First Club night for the 2023/2024 season is Wednesday 16th October.

Saturday Inter-Club Competition at Nga Puna Wai all-weather track is available and top-quality coaching is provided.

 

REGISTRATION DAYFOR ALL NEW MEMBERS:

 

DATE:        Monday 14th October

TIME:        5.00-6.30pm

PLACE:     Christchurch Avon Club Rooms – Burnside High School

                   (access from Greers Rd beside tennis courts)

FEES:         $122 per child ($102 for the 2nd and subsequent children in the family)

                   $75 for children in the Kiwisport Group – 5/6 yrs

                   Fees are payable following registration by internet banking

                   Note -  Until payment has been received, the child’s registration is incomplete.

 

Our very popular Junior club fills up quickly – so it is recommended that all new members attend registration night on Monday 14th October to secure a place.

Christchurch United FC, one of the most historic clubs in New Zealand, will be hosting several weeks of football camps over the upcoming Holiday Break at the United Sports Centre designed for young children (ages 4-13).  

 

These are great camps for families and kids that want to be active and enjoying playing and learning football.  Participants can come for the day or the duration of these developmental camps!
