Sports Updates by Marie Bianco

Year 5-6 Kind Foundation Basketball

Congratulations to all the children involved in these competitions during Term 2 and 3. The school is very proud of our teams efforts during the season and it was great to see all squad members wearing the Cotswold blue, black and white with pride.

Cotswold Comets

On Thursday 19th September the Cotswold Mātāhae Comets Girls Basketball Team finished off their season in a final against St Joseph's Year 6 Girls Team.

It was an incredible game to watch. The girls played every minute with passion & drive. The baskets just weren't happening, but neither were the oppositions.

Very low score at half time. Final whistle blew 10 -12 to St Joseph's. The girls were on a high even though they lost. Look out next season!

Special thanks to the wonderful Jo Holdem & Linda Wroth for their coaching & time!

Thankyou to the amazing supportive parents/caregivers, grandparents & other supporters who have been with the team throughout the season. Rock on 2025!

This week we feature the Cotswold Clippers coached by Mrs Layka Chandler.

The Clippers had a great season this year! They improved a lot as the season went on especially in their teamwork, passing and creating opportunities to shoot. They finished the season with a nail biting draw. It's been awesome to watch them grow and gain confidence over the season!
