We are thrilled to announce that applications for The Giving Circle Scholarship Award for 2026 are now open!

About the scholarship

This scholarship, established in 2020 by a group of generous anonymous donors, aims to support young people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in their educational journey. Administered by Crohn’s and Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust, this award helps our community members achieve their dreams.

What’s the award?

A flat $2,500 grant to support approved study-related costs, including:

  • Tuition fees

  • Course materials

  • Laptops or tablets

  • Software or educational tools

  • Specialised equipment

All purchases must be pre-approved by CCNZ, and receipts or tax invoices are required.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Have a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis

  • Be accepted into a course of study or training

  • Be a New Zealand citizen or resident

  • Demonstrate a plan to benefit the community
