We are thrilled to announce that applications for The Giving Circle Scholarship Award for 2025 are now open!
This scholarship, established in 2020 by a group of generous anonymous donors, aims to support young people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in their educational journey. Administered by Crohn’s and Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust, this award helps our community members achieve their dreams.
What’s the award?
The scholarship includes either a brand-new MacBook Pro valued at $2299 or equivalent expenses related to studying, such as:
Tuition fees
Course books and materials
Laptops
Software or educational tools
Specialised equipment required for certain fields of study.
Official receipts or invoices are required for payment of these expenses.
Eligibility criteria:
Have a diagnosis of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
Be accepted into a course of study or training post-high school.
Be a citizen or resident of New Zealand.
Demonstrate plans to benefit the community.
