Michyla How, Matt O'Mara - Taranaki Support Group - December 1, 2024

Matt and Michyla have picked up the reins and are eager to provide a point of contact to access the support that Taranaki patients and families need.

We welcome patients, families, and anyone from Taranaki who wants to learn more about IBD or support each other to join our Facebook page and come along to our meetings. A couple of friendly supportive faces to bring some humour and support to the IBD world we live in, is what we hope to achieve.

Matt is Dad to his 11-year-old Crohn's warrior, and Michyla has been navigating her own chronic illness journey with Crohn’s for seven years. So, we get it! We get how important it is to have a safe and comforting space to turn to, and that’s what we have on offer.
