Te Kahui Ako O Ngā Awaunui is hosting a Kapa Haka Picnic in the Park—a genuine community celebration you won't want to miss. Join us on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Park.

Come together for connection, celebration, and incredible Kapa Haka performances from all of our local schools and early learning centres. It's a great chance for the whole family to enjoy our community spirit! Best of all, we're serving a free sausage sizzle for everyone!

Your hosts for the evening will be Mason Stretch and Hadley Farquharson. This event is a collaborative effort by our local centres and schools, including Barnardos, BestStart, Celci, Willows, Kidsfirst, Molyneux Educare, Little Wonders, Cromwell College, Goldfields Primary and Cromwell Primary.
