A tu meke effort from the six college teams that competed in the SISS Adventure Race here in Cromwell in the weekend.

40 teams, 160 competitors and plenty of adventure.

Congratulations to Carter McAuliffe, Lain MacMillan, Bob Wardill and Tegan Buchanan on winning the mixed teams section and Emma Patton, Hayley McAuliffe, Emma Smith and Georgia Franklin who placed 3rd in the girls event.

I had the pleasure of hearing some of the 'Kiwiana' presentations from Ms Anderson's Year 8 class last week.

They were clearly proud of the work they had produced. I was very impressed by their efforts, their explanations and particularly how supportive and respectful they were during each presentation.
