Staffing Updates
Farewells and welcomes
At the end of this term we say farewell to -
Carmel Shearer
Carmel joined us in term 2 and has been a fantastic addition to our staff. Carmel has worked tirelessly to ensure her classroom received a smooth transition to primary school. Carmel has accepted a position at Hawea Flat School, a kura that is much closer to her home in Wānaka. Thank you so much for making a difference this year Carmel, you'll be missed.
Karen Huffadine
Karen has that institutional knowledge and experience that will be greatly missed. Karen has been a part of this kura for a long time and held positions right through the school. Karen has been a consistent presence of professionalism and positivity. Karen, we wish you all the very best as you spend more time with your whānau on the other side of the world!
Jamie Gilchrist
Jamie is our latest teacher at CPS, opening our term 4 new entrant classroom. Next year Jamie will work in an early child centre in Wānaka, where she lives. Jamie, thank you for the effort you have put in to ensuring our newest tamariki have a positive start to their time at Cromwell Primary.
Kylie Hodkinson
Kylie took over as a curriculum release teacher from Sharon Fairbairn, who went on maternity leave and has been teaching our children drama and performing arts over the past couple of terms. Thank you for sharing your expertise with our students and providing them with a specialist experience that they would not have otherwise received.
Welcome to Stephanie Dolphin
It is my pleasure to welcome Stephanie Dolphin to our school from the beginning of next year. Stephanie comes to us from Remarkables Primary school where she held classroom and leadership positions over a number of years. Stephanie will be a fantastic addition to our whānau.
