Cromwell Primary School Hosts Musselburgh School
Matthew McCormick - June 20, 2024
Cromwell Primary hosted Musselburgh School for a Haka practice. A Mihi Whakatau welcomed them. Truly a memorable experience for our kapa haka group!
A wonderful event that took place at Cromwell Primary School recently. Our hall was buzzing with energy as the Kapa Haka group from Musselburgh School came by to use our facilities for their practice for the Haka TÅ« Haka Ora competition in Queenstown.
What made this event more special was the fact that Musselburgh School was Mr McCormick's old school where he taught for 10 years.
Yesterday, we welcomed them with a heartwarming Mihi Whakatau. It was such a special occasion for our kapa haka group and a fantastic opportunity to build connections with students from outside of Cromwell. The Mihi Whakatau was a great experience for our children as they prepare for the Polyfest in a terms time.
