On Wednesday 23 August, 17 CPS students travelled to McArthur Ridge Vineyard near Alexandra to compete in the Dunstan Zone Cross Country event

There was a lot of nervous energy before the races started but once they got going, that energy was transferred into determination and 120% effort with all our CPS students showing the school value of excellence. 

Thank you to Gwylfa Moore, Maree Murcott, Laura Simpson and Mr McCormick for helping with transport and to all the whānau who came along to cheer the team on in each race.

The competitors who finished in the top ten qualify for the Central Otago Cross Country event which will be held at the Cromwell Racecourse on Thursday 14 September.
