The team of parents that make up our SOK’s committee are a hard working bunch who work tirelessly to fundraise for all the “extra” resources that help enrich our children’s time at Cromwell Primary School

HYPNOSIS EVENT

Our hard working volunteers have been at it again, with special thanks to Helen, Jonwin, Jaye and Gabrielle, who organised our Hypnosis show last Friday. These ladies put in countless hours of work to bring us a night of entertainment and laughter - one not to be missed.

Their hard work has paid off.   Along with the raffle and the online auction which is still live SOK’s has raised over $15,000 which will go towards purchasing new portable staging for our hall, which will enable us to hold more fabulous performances like the one we have been enjoying this week from the senior school.

SKI PROGRAMME - We want your Feedback

We enjoyed another fabulous season up the mountain at Cardrona. This year we had a few slight changes, including teaming up with Goldfields and offering the opportunity to ski on a Saturday.

Sarah Brown, from Goldfields has put together a few questions that we would appreciate you answering to help improve the school skiing programme and also plead our cause to keep Tuesdays & Saturdays. Cardrona is having a significant change in management of the ski school, so this feedback will help us considerably in trying to secure the programme to run the same next year too.

LOOKING AHEAD TO TERM 4 …

ICE BLOCK FRIDAYS

We are excited to have Ice Block Fridays back up and running throughout Term 4.

Ice blocks will be available for purchase on KINDO, but cash sales will also be available outside the hall.

HALLOWEEN DISCO

This event is always a highlight on the school calendar for the children, so mark the date on your calendar and start organising your costumes. It will be held on Friday 27th October in the School Hall. We will be looking for volunteers to help with dressing up the hall for this event so please get in touch if you have a creative flair or would just like to be involved

NEXT MEETING

Monday 9th October - we welcome new members to join us at 7pm, in the hall supper room
