Impetigo (School Sores)

Cromwell Primary School —

Impetigo (also called school sores) is a common skin infection. Impetigo mostly affects tamariki, but it can affect people of any age. Impetigo is passed on by skin-to-skin contact such as touching, so it spreads very easily

We have had a number of cases of Impetigo/School Sores at school recently. For more information, visit this link

We ask that tamariki stay away from school until 24 hours after starting treatment or as your healthcare provider advises
