Matthew McCormick —

We have a number of staffing updates to share with our CPS whānau.

We must first begin with saying a special farewell to our beloved Office Manager, Tegan Wilson who will be concluding her time at Cromwell Primary School by the end of this term. Tegan has been a significant part of our school for many years and has held roles such as Executive Officer and President, Secretary and Treasurer of the SoK's Committee. We are sorry to see Tegan go, while also very excited for what the future has in store for her.

We will be advertising for a new Office Manager and we hope to make an appointment throughout this the term.

Welcome Back Alex Offen!

I am excited to say that we welcome back Alex Offen, who will be joining the Junior Hub as a NE teacher from week 5 of next term. This role has been created to respond to the growing number of New Entrants joining our school. It will be great to have Alex back on the team.

We have exciting news from the Hārewa Hub!

Our amazing kaiako, Hannah Fitzpatrick has recently announced her pregnancy. We are very excited for Hannah and her partner James as they prepare for their first child. Hannah will conclude her year at the end of term 3, and an appointment will be made in the coming weeks to replace her in a fixed term teaching role for the next 12 months, working along side Cheryl, Katharine and Alex. We wish Hannah and James the very best as they embark on this exciting journey.

Welcome Amy!

Kia ora, my name is Amy and I am the new Social Worker in Schools (SWIS) at Cromwell Primary School. I will be working out of the school on Thursdays and Fridays and will be working with tamariki to support them with whatever they may be going through. This is through parental consent and all referrals are processed through Shona Hamilton. If you see me around please come and say kia ora!

Ngā mihi, Amy.
