What an exciting week it has been as we lead up to the Rugby World Cup final. Today we invited all students and staff to come dressed to represent either South Africa or the All Blacks. I have been dressing in All Black gear over the past couple of weeks so it has been nice to see lots of others doing the same. It has also been great to see our South African families representing in their green and gold. Game on!
Thank you to all those who have provided input for the Board of Trustees Strategic Planning. They are working hard to gain the necessary information to establish a strategic direction that reflects our communities aspirations.
There was a wave of excitement that passed over the school this week when our students arrived to school with brand new football goals. I'd like to take this opportunity to personally thanks SoKs for organising and fundraising for this new resources, Mainfreight for transporting it to school free of charge, to Kat, Jarred and Mr Ede for putting the goals together and also to the year 4 & 5's who came up with the idea to improve the play areas within our school. What a team effort!
Each week seems to pass with rapid speed and there are many events to look forward to such as the senior triathlon, CO's and then, Dunstan Zones, the Marae trip, junior production, year 6 leavers events and transition visits. Not to mention tonight's Disco!
We are also in the process of confirming our class structure for 2024. Once we have this confirmed I will be able to pass this information to you.
Enjoy your weekend,
Kā mihi.
