We have had a really busy week in Room 3! 

Our Little Legends have been so impressive this week. We have had some staff come into see our spelling and reading programme in action and by crickey our Little Legends showed how proficient they are at their sounds, sound manipulation and transference of skills into their reading and writing. I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made this year already. Our visiting staff were very impressed at their knowledge. 

Our maths sessions are going well with our basic facts recall and our forward skip counting up to 1000 improving every day. We are now moving into skip counting in ones, tens and hundreds backwards which can be more of a challenge - but our Little Legends CAN do hard things :)

Our Sport Canterbury are going well - we have been practising our hand eye coordination through a range of ball skills. Our class really enjoy these sessions!
