Wow the weeks are flying by - it was fabulous to see all the students out enjoying the dump of snow we got on Sunday - the snowmen were impressive!

We are working super hard in Room 3 at the moment. As well as crafting and publishing some well structured Information Reports, we are also writing speeches around the focus "Piko's TIPS in action". This week your child will come home with their speech on cue cards ready to practise. It would be great if you could please practise the delivery of this speech at home, and ensure the cards make it to school every day too :) More details will follow shortly regarding the actual speech competition day and times. 

We are developing our knowledge of place value this week and being able to independently compose and decompose larger numbers - as well as some subtraction algorithms for the Tigers (see photos below).
