Cust School Newsletter | Term 3, Week 3

Principal's Kōrero

Kia ora whānau. I trust that you all had a good week.

This week many of our students represented us really well and made us all very proud.

One Day Winter Sports Tournament: Our football, netball and rugby teams put in 100% effort and did very well. Thank you to those parents who came and supported us with this. We have not received any official results yet but will be in touch once we receive them.

Cantamath: On Wednesday we had three teams representing us for Cantamath. Our year 6 team came 6 equal out of 29 teams, our year 7 team came 13th and our year 8 team came 6th. Fantastic effort. Well done also to Mr Burke who was one of the main organisers for the day.

EPRO8: Yesterday our two EPRO8 teams made us all very proud in the EPRO8 semifinals. They did an amazing job. The year 5/6 team came fourth and the year 7/8 team came 2nd! Both teams will be going through to the finals. Congratulations to all these students. Fantastic effort by all.

Aladdin: Please consider buying a digital copy of Aladdin. The cost is only $15 per copy. The videographer we used has done most of the local school's productions and did a great job. Please see the separate article for more information.

Save the date: Next term on the 30th of October we will be doing a combined Pet/Agriculture day with West Eyreton School. More details about the day to come.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone.

Warm regards

Gerhard
