We are very proud to see our ex-KDEC student, Saynab Muse, who is in her third year of a Bachelor of Creative Enterprise at Unitec. Some of her work has been showcased at the 'Over Under' exhibition, along with work from 8 other female photographers, some students as well as contemporary NZ and international artists. Kelston Girls College (where Saynab attended, enrolled in our Deaf Provision) now have an article about the exhibition on their 'Arts Alert' board. Saynab was in Yr 13 at KGC in 2014 and took Photography in both Yr 12 & 13. In 2014 her self portrait was the poster for 'The Way we See It', an exhibition by Photography students from West Auckland, part of the Auckland Festival of Photography 2014. It was great to see her work in 2019's Auckland Festival of Photography 5 years later.
