Adam Baillie awarded 3rd place in major Lawn Bowls Competitions

Adam played in the Boys singles competition.

There were 37 schools from all over New Zealand completing in this competition. Approximately 40 boys competed in the singles.

Adam came 3rd and received a bronze metal.

Adam played his games at Carlton Cornwall Bowling Club.

Great News - NCEA NZSL

NZSL is now a UE (University Entrance) approved subject thanks to submissions by Francie Benge (MOE), Nirvana Graham (VADEC), Sarah Cameron (KDEC), Bryanna O'Reagan (VADEC) and Roby Neil (KDEC) and much follow up from Stephanie Mortimore.

This is great news because it means our Deaf and hard of hearing students have a subject recognised as an equal language subject comparable to Maori, French, German, Spanish etc. It means valid credits and a university pathway should the students wish to take this path.
