The warm sunny weather allowed the Christchurch students to explore the Botanic Gardens while they went on a treasure hunt to find various interesting and unusual items. They had a play in the playground and ate lunch together. After lunch the students gathered nature’s objects and in small groups they made an art garden using playdough.

We had a large group attend KIT Day, including Wharenui, our RTD caseload students, ASSIST students and their parents, staff and C/ESW’s. A wonderful day was had by all, new friendships were made, and parents got the opportunity to make connections.
