Hi my name is Shirvaun Abbott and I’m student leader for the deaf students at Ormiston Senior College. On February 19, we went to Maraetai beach. We went for a team building day to get know the new students. I organised a yummy shared lunch. Mary ( the senior teacher) and I also helped students learn how to ride the paddle board. I really enjoyed teaching the students how to use the paddle board. We had an awesome day and the weather was amazing. The Year 12,13 and Year 14 students helped the Year 11 students.
