Pool keys are now available at a cost of $80 for the remainder of the season.

Families are able to purchase a key for the school pool during the remainder of the summer season. The pool can be used after school, Saturdays and during the holidays. If you would like to hire a key for the remainder of the summer season, they are available from the office. Our pool is a wonderful resource for the school, albeit very costly to maintain. Buying a pool key is a great way to help us maintain the pool whilst having fun.

The pool has been resurfaced and we have purchased and installed a new dosing system, new solar heating, new pipework, new filters, new pump and some essential concreting work. All in all, we have rebuilt the pool and have ensured that it will continue to be a valued resource for many years to come. As you will be aware, such things do not come cheaply and we have spent around $200,000 on this pool upgrade. In an update on the school pool. We have purchased and installed a new dosing system, at a cost of $22,000, to replace the ageing system and will be installed in the next week or so. During the holidays, we have also replaced the filters and pumps, at further significant cost. We have ring fenced an additional $80,000 for the pool resurfacing to take place after this summer season has finished. Work will be completed ready for the pool opening in summer 2025. All of this work, plus a proposed replacement of the solar system, will future-proof our pool. We are very fortunate to be in a position to maintain our pool, especially as an increasing number of schools are closing their pools for financial reasons. Many thanks to The PTA and all our families who supported our excellent fundraising for the pool in 2024. Fundraising in 2025 will continue to go towards the pool costs.
