Here are some important dates. We have added a bit more detail to help those new to the school prepare for these events. Note our change of TOD from 30th May to 3rd June.

Tuedays throughout the term - every class will have music lessons provided by a music teacher from the music centre. Our teachers also attend, as part of their continuing professional development.  

Mon 28th April to Wednesday 7th May - Harold the giraffe and the Life Education Bus at school - every class will have a number of lessons covering health education and wellbeing. Your teachers will let you know what will be covered in each year group.

Tuesday 29th April - BOT meeting at 6.30pm (April meeting)

Monday 5th May - Soccer Promo Day at School - everyone gets the chance to play some fun soccer. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear

Thursday 15th May Class photos - More details to follow 

Friday 16th May - Dress to Express Yourself Day (this is our DPS version of Pink Shirt Day) Wear whatever makes you feel good - maybe even a pink shirt! We will focus on our anti-bullying messaging in the curriculum.

Tuesday 20th May - NE visits and parent information morning

Wednesday 21st May - MusicalAl - our Year 0-4 will attend this onsite music-making session.

Thursday 22nd May - Board of Trustees Meeting 6.30pm

Friday 30th May School closes at 3pm for King's Birthday weekend

Monday 2nd June School closed for King's Birthday holiday

Tuesday 3rd June - School closed for Teacher Only Day (MoE directed Maths PLD day for teachers)  

Wednesday 4th June - DPS Cross Country (more details to follow)

Wednesday 11th June - Peninsula cross country - for those who qualify in our DPS event

Friday 13th June - Life Education Wear Yellow for Harold - more details to follow  

Saturday 14th June - Bayswater School Matariki Festival - more details to follow

Friday 20th June - School closed for Matariki holiday 

Wednesday 25th June - NE visits and parent information morning

Thursday 26th June - Board of Trustees meeting (TBC)

Thursday 26th June - Mid-year Written Reports go home

Thursday 26th June - School closes at 3pm for holidays, reopening on Monday 14th July

Friday 27th June - School closed for Teacher Only Day
