Each year Nest consultancy deliver a positive puberty programme for Y6. Data from our 2023 Health Survey revealed strong parental support for a similar programme in Year 5. Consequently, this was introduced in 2024.

Prior to their work with the children, there will be a parent Zoom meeting with the Nest team at 6pm on 12th February. We encourage you to attend. Teachers will send out the invitations when school opens.

On Tuesday 18th February, Yr 6 will have a full day of Positive Puberty Plus© and Year 5 will have a shorter Cycle Smarter© / Positive Puberty© combo which is a less detailed puberty programme. All Year 5 students will be together for the first session, followed by an additional 1 hr session on periods/period products for the girls. You will receive more information from the teachers next week.

Please note that all Y5 and Y6 students will take part unless parents specifically request that their child is withdrawn.
