It is our school policy that all children should wear a bucket-style hat. We have DPS bucket hats for sale at $20. Please email the school office or call in.

The BOT would like to draw attention to our sunsmart policy, in particular the need for children to protect heads, ears, faces and necks when in the strong NZ sunshine. 

Children should also wear sunscreen to school and bring some to reapply after swimming. 

We are fortunate to have many shady areas to play within the grounds. Children without hats will be asked to play under the shade trees on the playground.
