Our annual DPS Athletics Day is coming up again on Wednesday the 7th of November!

It will be held at the North Shore Rugby Grounds from 9.30am - 2.30pm.

The children will be walking to the event in their class groups.

As we will be leaving school at 9.05am could you please ensure your child is at school on time?

Children will return to school after the event and will wait until their class is ready to walk back together. If you are in attendance at the event, you can check in with Beverley to ask permission to take your child directly home. Beverley will be keeping a master checklist of which students have been dismissed.

Please send your child dressed and prepared for all weather (raincoat, hat, sun cream etc.) with plenty of food and water.

Children should wear suitable shoes in all events except for high jump (barefoot).

All students from Year 1-6 will be taking part and will compete against others in their age groups.

We will take their age as it occurs on December 5th, as this is when the Inter School Athletics day will take place. It will make selection for this event easier.

The children will earn House points, so it would be great if all kids dress in their House colours;

Williams - RED * Halberg - GREEN * Snell - BLUE * Lovelock - YELLOW

We will require parent help with ALL of the events and with First Aid.

Any lunch orders will be delivered to the grounds on the day.
