My teaching philosophy

I believe every child has the right to feel seen and valued, and to realise their personal potential. My approach is based on empathy, reflective listening, and celebrating small wins.

Experience/qualifications

After several years working in the corporate world of market research, I am retraining to become an educational psychologist, and am in the middle of my studies. Working part time as a Learning Assistant at DPS is giving me a wealth of experience working with students who need additional support with their learning and/or behaviour. I have a BA in English Language and Literature and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology. I started at DPS in 2021.

About me

I’m from the UK, and have been in New Zealand since 2010. I live in Browns Bay with my husband Rodrigo and daughter Sofía. I'm learning Spanish, with the goal of being able to speak fluently with Rodrigo's family in Argentina. I love walking on the beach, yoga and meditation, reading, painting, and writing. 

I am currently on maternity leave and will return to school in November 2026
