Port Levy Wicked Rogaine Event

Alex Clark —

On Sunday 2nd May Diamond Harbour School Education Trust hosted a rogaine event at the Coop Family Farm in Port Levy for Wicked Rogaines.

The weather was fantastic, meaning there were many competitors who completed the 6, 4 and 2 hour rogaines, as well as, a family rogaine which was enjoyed by many.

Huge thanks to the Diamond Harbour families who donated ingredients for the competitor's meals and bake sale; as well as volunteering their time to help prepare and serve food, carparking, helping out with the registration desk and sausage sizzle.

The Trust raised a fantastic $6,500! These funds will go towards projects at the school which directly benefit the education of our children at Diamond Harbour School. So far the Trust has been able to provide the construction of the bike track, up to date reading material including many reading books and novel sets, robotics, a new multimedia suite and regular funding for the Garden to Table programme. This is all done through a group of parents who fundraise and seek donations from within the community.
