Online Learning

Diamond Harbour School —

At this stage it is still unlikely that the school will close however, it is important that we plan for this in case it should happen.

If it does happen, a portion of student learning will be delivered by online methods. Our school is in a strong position to move to online teaching and preparations are underway to ensure that if this should end up being the case, the education of our students should continue as seamlessly as possible. We imagine that our more senior students will require little more than supervision, however the use of technology for learning like this will be new for our junior students and we understand they will need a higher level of parent support.
To help up-skill parents and to clarify what our online teaching programme will look like we will be holding a session next Wednesday at 6 o’clock. If you have your own device it would be helpful for you to bring it with you. Please fill in the linked Google form to give us an idea of numbers attending this session and what you would like us to cover. Having an idea of the number of parents who wish to attend enables us to follow safe physical distancing protocols.
