On Monday Luke shaved his head to raise money for an excellent cause.

Luke's good friend from his previous school, Keil, has just started treatment for leukaemia.  To support him and to raise money to help him and others like him Luke made the brave decision to shave his head and donate the proceeds raised to Shave For A Cure, the fundraising drive for Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand.

The shave was enthusiastically watched by a large proportion of the school population on Monday lunchtime and was a fantastic success.  So far Luke has raised $435, almost reaching his goal of $500.
