On Wednesday our Year 4 to 8 students visited Charteris Bay Golf Club as a culmination of our Golf in Schools lessons.

We all played three holes as a team, each of us having a turn to tee off and then playing the ball that went the furthest. We learned all about replacing divots and being quiet when others are teeing off.

 All of us had a great time and it is clear that we have a number of future golfers among us. We would like to thank Neil for sharing his knowledge and skills with us, Charteris Bay Golf Club for hosting us and all of the parents who came to help. And to top it off, the Charteris Bay Golf Club has generously offered that any student of Diamond Harbour School can play for free when they play with a paying parent.
