Tena koutou nga whanau, nga mihi nui ki a koutou katoa,

Last newsletter I was hoping that we would be back on site for this newsletter and we made it …. just. It was fabulous to welcome the students back to school today. Most of them seemed very happy to be back and to be able to catch up with their friends and teachers. No doubt, some parents were quite happy too.

Next week is Book Week. Events will be school only but we will still have the annual Book Week parade. This is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Unlike previous years we won’t be able to invite visitors but we will try and take lots of photos to share with you.

Next weekend the school equestrian team is competing in the Primary School Championships. We wish them all the best for this. Luckily this has been able to go ahead with horses being quite natural social distancers.

Over the next week students will be working on their Calendar Art. This is an annual fundraiser for the school and we hope to have these on display for you to choose from in the next couple of weeks.
