On Tuesday night our band, No Exit, competed in the Canterbury Band Quest finals against 16 other bands at the Haeata Community Campus.

The standard of all the bands was extremely high this year and our students performed strongly giving a lively rendition of Hotel California by The Eagles and Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi. Although they performed last, their energy and good sportsmanship they showed for the other bands in the competition were rewarded by huge audience support and enthusiasm.  

The highlight of the night was when Sahara, our amazing bass player, won the Rock Solid Bass Award. It was a fantastic night all round and the band would like to pass on their massive thanks to Kerri-Anne for driving us, Charis for making us look awesome, Danial for helping us to sound awesome, John for the fish 'n' chips and all of our parents, families and friends who came to support us.
