How to Raise a Champion: Balance is Better -  A presentation from Sport Canterbury in conjunction with Elmwood Normal School to debunk the myths of what some parents and coaches believe is the way to future sporting success for their child/children. We talk about the word ‘champion’. This does not have to mean you must be the winner or the best at something. To be a champion is to be the best version of yourself and this is the message we will be getting across throughout the evening. We will hear from four guest speakers including Sharon Kearney, John Quinn, Jonelle Quane and Andrew Ellis who will share their personal experiences.
