Year 8 student David Buchanan is competing at the World Optimist Championship regatta which commences on 11 July and concludes on 21 July. For those interested in following David's regatta results, the IODA website will be updated on a daily basis. Racing can be followed live from anywhere in the world via live tracking available on the event website, this information can be accessed at www.2017worlds.optiworld.org. The NZ Worlds Team plan to train at the venue in Pattaya, Thailand up until the championship starts. We wish David every success in his campaign.
