PCT Competition
On Tuesday the 24th of May a group of 4 students, Tommy, Tayla, Pippa, and Toby, went to the PCT (Police Competency Test) competition.
This is a competition where students from schools around Christchurch get a chance to do the training course that police officers do every two years. We got to climb through windows up walls and fences, we got to crawl under and jump over hurdles, and we did lots of other obstacles.
We also did other fun activities like a sprint race where a police officer would find our maximum speed with a laser device that they use to find the speed of cars on the road. There was also a St Johns station were we did a CPR race. We also got to dress up in police uniform and sit in the police car, and many more fun activities.
