Te Kōhanga students and teachers would like to extend a huge thank you to the businesses and families involved in creating our wonderful, new, accessible sandpit. We were very lucky to have an army of willing helpers on both working bee weekends, to construct and then fill the sandpit, despite the inclement weather.

Daniel Turland ( Lennox's dad) who donated his skills, time and materials to plan and build the sandpit along with other Te Kohanga families. 

Alex Foster and Tom Clark who donated the sand along with Frews who delivered it for free. 

Kate and Jono Hitchings who helped co-ordinate the working bee and gave the use of their digger for the day.
