The theme this year is Futuristic with a focus on wearable art, incorporating light. Families, please meet at St Saviours at the Holy trinity at 5.30 for the parade at 6pm. The parade will go along Winchester St, onto Oxford St and along London St finishing at Albion Square. We stress that all families wishing to participate must stay together so as to avoid confusion and handing over of kids in an incredibly busy crowd. It will be lovely to see you there and have our school represented.
Buying these plasters helps support the ambulance service and other essential St John community services. Only $3.50 buys you a pack of cool ambulance plasters. Available from the school office. All funds raised come back to our local community.

On Tuesday (21st June) Kotuku went on an adventure to learn about recycling, waste and what we can do with unwanted items. We stunned Fendalton School and the whole of Christchurch with our fabulous musical talent.
A reminder of what's coming up.
Next week is book week, when we will celebrate our love of reading. Have you thought about a book character costume or hunted out those books that you'd like to swap at our community book swap? Maybe you're keen to come along to our stories and hot chocolate evening, or you'd like to share stories with your child's class. Don't forget to also check out the scholastic book fair, which will run all week.
The NEW 2016 | 2017 Entertainment™ Book and Digital Memberships are still available and are packed with thousands of up to 50% OFF and 2-for-1 offers.
As next week is book week, let's think about how sharing books can help our children with their maths learning. The NZ maths site gives lots of information on how you can help your child with maths through sharing books.
