Report on Cyber Security and what can be done to protect NZ businesses.

Richard Holstein —

Digital Journey has completed an initial scoping project to review NZ's cyber security and what can be done to protect businesses.

Digita Journey Team are absolutely thrilled to be working with Innovation Partnership and to be presented with the opportunity to assess, research and prepare a report on NZ's Cyber Security.   An engagement with a number of stages.

Stage 1 - initial research and scoping report.

Our focus in stage 1  was to engage with both the private sector and Government to assess what measures are in place or coming to advance cyber security protection and block cyber-crime.  In addition, we also looked at what is happening Internationally in this fast-paced cyber market and the reasons why businesses are not taking adequate steps to prevent cyber crime occurring.

This is an incredibly important topic especially given the increase in cyber crime impacting NZ businesses - Richard Holstein, author of the initial report.

A report summarising the research in stage 1 was presented to the Innovation Partnership Forum for feedback and a copy of the report is attached to this article or it is available at this link for review.

Stage two - getting feedback

Really excited to announce that stage 2 of the project is now underway which will include workshops and presentations to socialise and refine the report recommendations.
