The message of Paihaka is a message of peace. The two communities, Dunedin/Otago and Parihaka/Taranaki will always have a sad but special connection. As we reflect and learn from history, perhaps we can be inspired to be people of peace. We could celebrate peaceful action, but also affirm peace amongst families and amongst communities.

A koha will be taken which will go towards Dunedin Night Shelter
