St John's Invercargill: Saying Goodbye and Looking to the Future

Planning is currently underway for the St John's Invercargill Parish to move from the current inner city church facilities in December. Information on the 2nd December function is attached below . Read on further for information about the new location for the Parish Office & Library as well as the Columbarium.

The final service and event for current and former parishioners, as well as for any others who have an ongoing friendship and connection with the Parish is this Sunday 2nd December:

Service of Decommissioning of St John's Church

This will take place on Sunday 2nd December @ 3 pm. Those attending this service are invited to join the procession along the road to the Working Men's Club for 5 pm where a light finger tea will be provided at the parish's expense. The service and finger tea will be an opportunity to share memories. Parish Office, Library, Future Serviecs, Columbarium

  • The office is sharing facilities at Holy Trinity Church and is open on Thursday mornings from 8 am to 12 noon, telephone (03) 217 7729.
  • The Parish Library has been rolcated at Holy Trinity and is in the process of being reassembed there.
