Join us for a great annual training event
Wouldn't it be wonderful to work with God to create places of justice, peace and joy in our homes, churches, community and country?
This year we are fortunate to have Archbishop Philip Richardson joining us for the morning, to look at some specific ways we can nurture these blessings of the Kingdom of God.
Lunch will be provided by the wonderful Balclutha catering group who delighted us all last year. After lunch we're offering a range of workshops as we usually do, calling on the skills of our own local people to give us some ideas on practical aspects of our ministries.
These training days are a wonderful chance to get together with people from across the Diocese. We take Lay Ministry seriously, and as such we want to ensure we give you ongoing opportunities to refresh and grow your skills and knowledge. We strongly encourage all who are Licenced Lay Ministers to come to the day if possible, and extend the invitation to all who are interested in growing their own ministry.
If travel costs are difficult, please let us know when you register as some support is available. Many people car-share which gives you more time to chat, saves petrol, and - particularly for those driving a long way - makes the journey safer.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
