The Discipleship Pathway team has just released the First Two New Children Leaders Classes which are excellent trainings for anyone working with younger people.

They are led by Diana Langdon our Anglican National Children and Families Ministry Enabler and Greta Greenwood, the Children and Families Ministry Enabler for the Diocese of Nelson.

Intergenerational Communities of Faith

Growing up in an intergenerational faith community is the best way for us to form faith, as we journey alongside other ages and generations in discovering who Jesus is. As we create space for children and young people to authentically belong in our faith communities, we ensure they are wrapped up in a welcoming, loving and accepting church whānau, who provide opportunities for all generations to worship, serve and seek God together.

Whānau on Mission

Whānau on Mission looks at how to step into the adventure that Jesus has for families, to be hope bearers and kingdom changers outside of the church walls. Learn how to support families - or empower your own - to embrace God's call. This class is presented by Greta Greenwood, the Children and Families Ministry Enabler for the Diocese of Nelson.

In each of our five classes, we unpack a key value of Strandz, digging into how the church can empower and equip children and families to be hope bearers and kingdom changers in the world. Each class is made up of 6-10 short, simple, creative, fun, and engaging modules, and they are presented by some of the most experienced children's ministry leaders we know. These videos are great for those starting out in kids ministry, if you'd like a refresher on a particular topic, or want to dig deep into a topic that you're interested in. We hope you love them as much as we do!
