Friday Light, based at St Luke’s Taieri, has been a significant way of "connecting faith" with people who may not fit into a conventional parish setting.

Bon Smith (present from the beginning) talks about what it has meant to her. 

With a focus on food for the body, fun, friendship and food for the soul, it has been on the go for over 15 years, drawing in people from the greater Dunedin, Mosgiel and Waihola areas.

This footage was shot in May 2021 by St Luke's administrator, Aaron Mattingly: sadly, Friday Light's ability to operate has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic... but its with a real sense of gratitude we catch a glimpse of this ministry that has had such an impact on so many. Please continue to pray for Friday Light as it considers its future.
