I recognise with sadness the recent death of Fr Philip Sallis, recently of the Auckland Diocese and previously Priest in the Dunedin Diocese.

We remember with gratitude his years of service as a Priest, in Dunedin and other Dioceses and hold his family in our prayers at this time. Fr Philip's funeral was held in St Mary's-in-Holy-Trinity in Auckland on 18 February 2020.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
