Generosity Surpasses

Judith Peterson —

South Centre in Invercargill is grateful for the ongoing support from local parishes.

Judith Peterson, South Centre Manager writes:

Some amazing donations have come in to us from Parishes and individual Parishioners.

One Parish donated $2000.00 by cheque on Monday, then a carful of the most beautiful teddy bears along with miscellaneous goods arrived. These are just an example of the support South Centre receives. Some parishioners donate individually and for all of this we consider ourselves truly blessed to be part of the Anglican family

Harvest Festivals provided some of our families with fruit and vegetables, precious to a family with very little. Pottles of soup for our older clients from Invercargill during Winter are so appreciated and common comment from clients is “real homemade soup”.

Knitted and Crochet rugs and blankets, also quilts, linen and the list goes on and on.

We are so grateful that you all, by way of donations, enable us to support our clients, young and old.
