Recently many faith communities celebrated St Frances day by inviting not just people but their beloved pets to be part of Worship.

St Michael's in Te Anau was no exception. The Rev'd Jennifer Tapsell writes: 

On October 4th, to celebrate St Francis the folk at St Michael and All Angels, Fiordland were blessed with the company of five dogs, two lambs, two rabbits and two chickens. It was a very joyful occasion in which all present enthusiastically participated in their own unique way.

By the looks of things, the occasion was enjoyed by all participants, with the message that "all are welcome in this place"
