Meri Kirihimete
As this is our last newsletter for 2020, we wish you joy, peace and love as you welcome the Christ Child into your hearts and homes.
For any children out there (and maybe some older ones!) waiting for Santa to do what Santa does... you may enjoy the following from the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway in Scotland: light hearted, but also with an important message:
We are sure Bishop Steve would be happy to extend this to our part of the world... certainly the part about finding ways to love and support those in need around us.
Speaking of this, we know many have already begun connecting with people in their communities that is such a feature of this time of year... and we enjoyed this picture of "a lovely time with the people of Bupa Ascot Care Home in Invercargill during our Anglican Christmas Service" sent through by Dot Muir.
"Ezra the Donkey, Rocky the little pony and our little Christmas Angels bring cheer to many of the residents."
Last Friday night, there was also joy a plenty to be had at the Diocesan Christingle Service held at All Saints Church in Dunedin North.
Finally, have a look at the latest (light hearted) reminder from the Ministry of Health to keep safe over the holiday period...
