Diocesan Library Makeover

We have been fortunate to be able to employ Eddie O'Connor to help assess our library and resource centre at Pater Mann House, with a view to streamlining and making it more accessible.

Part of this is making closer links with the John Kinder Theological Library in Auckland, but also having a needed assessment of our collection, making sure that what we have is useful and relevant.

People may know Eddie in recent roles looking after the Parish of Takaka, and previously to this running the Sister Eveleen Retreat Centre in Christchurch. What you may not know is that Eddie is a trained librarian - and we are very fortunate to have him help sort things for us. Eddie started his month working with us on Monday 12 February.

There will be a number of books and resources that will be available once we have double checked them. We are looking at what we need to keep, what needs to be archived and what we don't need in the collection.

We will let you know when these are available on a first in first served basis.
